How To Play With Your Bunny-Rabbit

How to play with your bunny rabbit?

When you want to play with your bunny rabbit you should be aware of the fact that you do not scare them off and let them first be comfortable with you. You cannot directly barge in and start playing with them, you need to follow some of the steps that are given below which will tell you how to play with your bunny rabbit:-

  1. The first and the most important step is that you should not directly barge into your rabbit and start playing with it as they will get scared of you in this manner. You need to first make sure that your rabbit is familiar with you and also you should know your rabbit properly.
  2. You need to spend time with your rabbit as much as possible so that they feel safe around you and also get used to your presence.
  3. Once they are familiar with your presence they will not get scared of you and they will be comfortable around you as they will feel safe and also they will trust you.
  4. Now you need to choose the toys that are safe for your rabbit so that you can let them play with them and your rabbit also enjoys playing with those toys.
  5. There are varieties of toys that you can pick up from the market and choose for your rabbit so that they can play comfortably with them also for knowing the best toy for your rabbit you should also know your rabbit properly so that you can choose the best of toy for them according to their nature.
  6. Also, you need to pick different toys when you are away and not play with them because it is not possible for an owner to be with you the whole day so when you are away from them then also your rabbit need to be kept entertained so that they do not get bored.
  7. You need to choose toys like the ones that will keep them busy for a long time like you can provide them with sawdust so that they can burrow cardboard boxes they can cut holes in them and various related things so that the rabbits do not feel left out or avoided.
  8. You also can schedule the playtime for your rabbit so that they can get into the routine this will help them stay motivated to play and also they will wait eagerly for this time. In this manner, you will also be able to train your rabbit.
  9. You need to make sure that your rabbit feels safe with you and while you want to play with them you need to get down to their level so that they feel safe and also you will not hurt them.
  10. You need to physically interact with your rabbit by touching them, cuddling them, or letting them sit on your lap. In this manner, they will come closer to you and will also be able to trust you. The rabbits will definitely enjoy their time if they are attached and well-bonded to their owners.
  11. Now another thing that you need to do is be patient and calm with your rabbit because the rabbit will not directly mix- up with you whenever you will go to them, they will take their time to get sued to you, and also it is your duty do not force them to play. Let the rabbits take their own time because that is a healthy way to initiate a safe playing session with your rabbit.
  12. You need to provide the rabbit with a positive vibe and also a positive environment so that they can easily trust you and will feel no restriction in themselves while playing with you.
  13. When you are playing with your rabbit you need to make sure that you both play without any aggression because if the aggression is involved then the rabbit will pick up the same behavior and will become aggressive in the long run.
  14. You can also use treats in order to motivate the rabbits for playing because the rabbits love treats and this can be used by the owners to encourage them for playing with them.
  15. Sometimes you will notice that the rabbits can even bite you, but you need to be calm with them and not be aggressive so that they do not get scared of you. Make them realize that biting you is something wrong that they are doing in a very positive and patient way.
  16. When the playtime is over you do not force them out of it, let them choose the time when they want to get overplaying. As with time, they will easily know when you are not able to play once they will start to know their owners in a better way.
  17. Also, you will notice that the rabbits will not play for the same time every day, someday they want to play for a longer time, and for some days they do not want to play for long and you will notice that they will just stop playing early and will rest.
  18. You need to give your rabbit their personal time and let them be as forced playing is something that will have a negative impact on your rabbit which is not at all good for them.
  19. The rabbits will get used to playing with you with time when they will start trusting you and also when the bonding between you two will be strong enough.

These are some of the ways in which you can play with your little rabbit, but you need to make sure whenever you are playing with your rabbit the environment should be safe for your rabbit and also they should be able to enjoy their time while playing because only then they will love to play otherwise the rabbits will try to avoid playing.

As we know in order to utilize the excessive energy of the rabbits we should encourage playtime for the rabbits for their proper and healthy growth.

Final thoughts:

The rabbit needs to be happy and healthy inside the captivity which is why you need to take proper care of them and that is only possible if you are able to understand your rabbit in a proper manner. You need to make sure that the rabbits are not facing any problems inside the captivity because that will make them feel stressed and they are not able to enjoy their time.

So playing with them is a way in which you will be able to encourage them for a happy and comfortable life also the rabbits will love to spend time with you and when you will spend time with them they will definitely be able to build a strong bonding with you and even the rabbit will start understanding you with the passage of time.
