  2. You also need to make sure that there is no leakage or any space from where anything can enter the hutch of the rabbit as this will keep the rabbit warm and comfortable during the winter as no air will escape or enter their hutch.
  3. Cover all the access points or openings from where the cold air will enter the hutch of your rabbit and that is why you need to make sure that you provide the rabbit with the best hutch that will keep them warm during the winters too.
  4. You also need to check the water of your rabbit because there are chances that the water usually froze in winter in their bowls, so that is why you need to check and replace it so that they can stay hydrated at extremely cold temperatures.
  5. You need to even clean the hutch of your rabbit because the hay and straw are cold because of the dampness during the winter which will affect the temperature of the rabbit and will make them feel cold and that is why it is best to remove it.

You need to even get more food for the rabbits during the winters so that they can eat more and stay warm as food will provide them with fats and carbohydrates too which will keep the warm when it is too cold outside and also so that they do not feel hungry and because of this they will have the urge to move out of their hutch. The average body temperature of the rabbit lies between 101 to 103 degrees Fahrenheit and if the temperature drops below 100 degrees Fahrenheit during winters then you need to make sure that they are kept warm because this is not apt for the rabbits and they can face diseases like hypothermia and other problem.
