  1. When they go outdoors that is the easiest way to get fleas over them and that is how fleas enter their body.
  2. Even when you will go out and if fleas have come on to you and you will come in contact with your rabbit the rabbits will get fleas in this way too.
  3. Another way is that if there are fleas present in something then also the rabbits are most likely to get prone to the fleas onto their body.
  4. Also if there are other pets at home and the rabbits are in their contact the rabbits will definitely get the fleas in such a manner.
  5. Can enter the house and then get to the rabbits through the screens as they can jump even high to enter through the windows.
  6. From clothes, they can easily get fleas the clothes because fleas are often present on the clothes.

These are some of the ways in which the fleas can get to the rabbits and this tells us that the rabbis are too prone to the fleas even if they will not go out of the house the fleas will still be there on the body of the rabbits because they are too sensitive in nature and easy to attack.

The ways in which you can treat the rabbits from fleas so that they do not face any issues because of the fleas as fleas are very harmful to the rabbits then you need to make sure that you make your rabbit rid of fleas as soon as possible and some of the ways to do so are listed as below:-

1. Safe medications for fleas

You can use the various medications for the rabbits so that you can treat the fleas on them. Make sure that you consult the vet before giving them any kind of medication because as rabbits are sensitive they can face issues with the medications, so only safe and prescribed medications should be used for fleas and this is an effective way to get rid of the fleas from the rabbits.

2. Flea combs

You can use the flea combs as this will help in removing all the fleas and other unwanted things from the body of the rabbits. So make sure that your rabbit is properly combed or brushed so that you can get rid of the fleas from their body.

3. Clean the rabbit’s habitat

It is a very important step that you properly clean the habitat of your rabbit so that they can stay in the clean space and the fleas do not dwell in the clean places you will notice that in this way you will be able to provide a hygienic environment for your rabbit where they can live peacefully without any fleas.

4. Bathe with anti-flea shampoo

You can use the shampoos that can make the rabbits get rid of the fleas and make sure that these shampoos are safe for the rabbits and there are no side effects of these shampoos and also you need to know that before using these shampoos on your rabbit try to consult a vet and only then you need to use otherwise it could be dangerous for them.

5. Consult a vet

The best and the easiest way to get rid of the fleas from your rabbit is to consult the vet because they will guide you in the proper manner and will provide the perfect treatment so that your rabbit can get rid of the fleas and also in this way your rabbit will not face any issue due to the fleas. The fleas need to be treated in a proper manner and only the vets can do that.

6. Wash your hands and house

You even need to wash your hands before handling the rabbits because this will help in maintaining hygiene also your house need to be neat and clean so that there is no way the fleas are entering the house and once they do not enter the house the rabbits will not get the fleas.
