There are various reasons for the fact that your rabbit suddenly starts hiding and one should be aware of all these reasons so that they can understand their rabbit in a better way and also provide them with a life that they deserve. You should be aware of the various things and also the behavior of the rabbit should be understood and the various reasons behind the fact that the why your rabbit is hiding suddenly is listed as below:-

1. Scared

The rabbits hide when they do not feel safe and are scared of something or someone around them. Also, you will notice that the rabbits are very sensitive which is why they get scared very easily.

2. Anxiety

If the rabbit feels anxiety about something then also they will be seen hiding around in the house. They can get easily disturbed about lots of things around them and that is the reason they hide and anxious rabbits usually do this.

3. Stressed rabbit

The rabbits are stressed about lots of things which is why you will notice then whenever they will something is not right with them or with the pace they are at they will hide suddenly because the stressed rabbits love to be alone and they do not want anyone to disturb them.

4. Playing around

When the rabbits sense their predators are around then also they will hide very fast so that they can keep themselves safe and the predators are not able to track or find them. This is their natural instinct they will suddenly run away to hide when they sense any kind of predator around them.

Your rabbit will often hide when they are sick and when they do not have the energy to interact with anyone then the rabbits are often seen hiding. They do not feel like eating anything, all they want to do is hide and not be anyone.

  2. Under the bed and the sofa
  3. Under the tables too
  4. In empty bags and boxes
  5. Open cupboards
  6. Corners of the house
  7. Between the gaps in furniture
  8. In between their toys
  9. Pile of clothes and even paper
  10. Wherever they find a place to slip in
  11. Litter boxes
  12. Small and dark places where they can get it
  13. Kitchen cupboards

These are some of the common places where your rabbit will hide usually and you should know all these places so that your rabbit does not get lost instead you are able to find them easily without any issue. Also, you should be aware of the fact that the rabbits are usually found hiding and you should not panic because of this reason, instead, you should calm down and search for them in places where they can hide and then find them.
