The bearded dragon is one of the most popular reptiles that is kept as a pet by many people. They need care from their owners as they are sensitive in nature so do not be careless if you have a bearded dragon as a pet. You need to take care of everything related to the bearded dragon.

The bearded dragon lays infertile eggs too which we need to differentiate from the fertile eggs and dispose of them in a proper way. Here, we are discussing how to dispose of the infertile bearded eggs so that you do not confuse them with fertile ones.

There are various ways in which you can dispose of the infertile eggs of the bearded dragon.

How to dispose of the infertile bearded dragon eggs?

There are various ways in which you can dispose of the dead or the infertile eggs of the bearded dragon and some of the ways have been listed as below which can be easily followed in order to dispose of the infertile eggs of the bearded dragon:

In some cases there are chances that the female bearded dragon itself eats the infertile eggs and that is not something unusual it is fine and it is a common scenario in the wild so do not worry. By doing so they will be able to gain the nutrients from the dead or the infertile egg that they need after laying the eggs.

You will notice that the bearded dragon will eat the eggs that are infertile, do not panic and let it be. In order to avoid this, you can take away the infertile egg from their side if you can easily differentiate between the two.

But in the wild, they usually eat infertile eggs if there is a scarcity of food so this is the best way to get their nutrients.

  • You can first separate the fertile and infertile eggs and then keep the fertile eggs for incubation and take away the infertile eggs.
  • You can use the infertile eggs as the natural fertilizer by mixing them up with the soil and even putting it inside the soil by digging a pit, in this way all the nutrients that are there in the infertile egg will be mixed in the soil when they will decompose and the soil will have lots of nutrients that they will get from these infertile eggs.
  • The infertile eggs of the bearded dragon are one of the best and the easiest source of natural fertilizer. This is one of the best methods to easily dispose of the infertile eggs of the bearded dragon.

You can also feed the infertile eggs of the bearded dragon to some other pets if you have them at home as this will help in gaining lots of nutrients from them.

The other animals can easily digest these infertile eggs and also it is healthy for them. There is nothing wrong with feeding other animals or pets with the infertile eggs of the bearded dragon because they are already dead and also they will not hatch anyway so it is better you can feed them other than just throwing them away.

You should remove the dead or the infertile eggs away as soon as possible and get rid of them, if any of the above is not possible you can simply throw away those eggs and get rid of them.

So that it does not create any issue for you or even the bearded dragon. So directly throw them somewhere where you dispose of the other waste materials.

These are the various ways in which you can dispose of the infertile or the dead eggs of the bearded dragon and you can choose any way in which you can dispose of the infertile eggs easily.
