  1. The green bean contains potassium and even fiber that is good for controlling the pulse and also helps in decreasing the danger of coronary illness or heart stroke and that is the reason that the green beans are good for the guinea pig.
  2. The weight of the guinea pig is also being controlled on the consumption of green beans. As the green beans are low in calories, fats, carbs, and even proteins and all these nutrients are responsible for increasing the weight of your little guinea, and because as these nutrients are present in low levels in the green beans so the guinea pig will not be able to gain lots of weight or become obese.
  3. Green beans are also known for the prevention of cancer in the guinea pig because there are agents in green beans that prevent cancer. The green beans have manganese, Vitamin A, and selenium which are good for the little guinea and these are cancer-preventing agents.
  4. The green beans are also great for the eyes of the guinea pig because it contains the nutrients that are good for preventing age-related issues. So that is why this is preferred by the little piggy that you should feed them with the green beans.
  5. The green beans are also rich in Vitamin C and the guinea pig also needs Vitamin C in their diet and it is very important for them. Vitamin C is known for improving the soundness of the little pig and that is why it is very important for them.
  6. One of the important nutrients is Vitamin B6 is also present in the green beans that are good for the metabolism of the guinea pig. So that is why you will notice that green beans provide them with lots of important nutrients.

  1. Green beans can cause stones in the bladder of the guinea pig and that is something that is why you need to control the consumption of the green beans for the guinea pigs.
  2. Green beans can also cause digestive issues as they contain a high amount of fibers and sugar which will cause lots of digestive issues.
  3. The swelling is another risk that can be caused by the green beans to the guinea pigs due to the presence of lectins that is a type of protein that leads to the swelling in them.
  4. The excessive consumption of green beans also hinders the absorption of magnesium in the guinea pigs.

These are some of the risks that are involved if you overfeed your guinea pig with green beans so make sure that you control the quantity and your little pet does not have to face any problem that is mentioned above.
