Alaskan Klee Kai is a rare breed and belongs to the Spitz dog family. This breed resembles the wolves. There are different sizes and four different colors in this breed of dog.

These dogs are known for their resemblance with the Siberian Huskies and they also have a very notable difference in their body size. There are differences in the temperament of Husky and the Klee Kais traits.

There are various reasons for Alaskan Klee Kai dog becoming so much popular nowadays. This is because it has high energy levels and a good level of intelligence too.

Alaskan Klee Kai Shedding

Shedding Alaskan Klee Kai

There are types of the Klee Kai dogs. One is the breed that sheds on a minimal level. This is the best for those who do not want hair in their car and their home.

The other breed is the non shedding one. These are going to be the most preferred breeds. Since the users might get allergies from these dogs they look for hypoallergenic ones. They also pay a lot of dollars to get these dogs.

Some users are even wanting hypoallergenic for the hair or want one without these. Non shedding pet dogs are not something accurate. This is because all the pet dogs shed is little or more.

Some breeds lose only very little hair and these are very suitable. If you are looking for hypoallergenic dogs, you can know about those too and get the ones.

We also see that the no dogs are absolutely hypoallergenic and some breeds are completely understood as allergy sufferers.

If you wish to know the dog breeds that do not shed, then these are Havanese, Tibetan Terrier, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, Portuguese Waterdog, Brussels Griffon, Cairn Terrier.

This dog is the small version of the dog that is referred to as the Alaskan Husky, it has a striking masked face, double coat, and wedge-shaped head, and prick ears.

The length of the body is longer as compared to the height. The tail of the dog is well furred and there are curls too on the back and side of the dog.  The appearance of this dog helps to represent the northern heritage of the breed.

The most interesting characteristics of the dog are the facial mask, and it has contrasting colors. The full mask is very adorable. The dog is curious, agile, and quick as well.  Due to his loyalty and alertness, the Alaskan Klee kai is known to be an excellent watchdog, and this dog is territorial despite its small size.

The dog is very affectionate with the family members and stays reserved with strangers and unfamiliar situations.

Alaskan Klee Kai Shedding-Guide

Shedding and appearance of the coat

This dog has a fluffy and soft coat. The fur is thick and double-layered. There is a soft undercoat as well and there is a coarser outer layer.

The coat is shed throughout the year moderately and 2 times a year with excess shedding.

You can keep a vacuum dryer with yourself so that you can clean the excess fur from the furniture and the car.

When the shedding is high you can also restrict the Alaskan Kai to get in some parts of your house such as the kitchen and the bedroom.

This dog is intelligent and loyal and a family dog. These dogs are regarded as working dogs and do not have the same drive as the Siberian husky. If you want this dog then it should be for companionship. Moreover, this dog will take any chance to be with you.

The dog is energetic and is very active as well. No one can match the energy level of the dog. If you are not an active person then you might need to select any other dog breed.

Conclusion:

The Alaskan Klee kai mostly sheds a lot twice a year but you can take measures so that it does not affect your health and the surroundings. To maintain cleanliness and also clean the surroundings where your dog stays.
