It is very important that you maintain the proper temperature in your bearded dragon’s terrarium. If the temperatures and the basking of the bearded dragon are not proper then it can lead to enclosure of detrimental conditions.
The bearded dragon due to this might lose the appetite and feel lethargic. We have discussed some tactics below which can be used by the owners of bearded dragons.

Basking zones for bearded dragons
The most crucial zone for the bearded dragons is the basking zones. The temperature in it should be about 90-110 degreesF. The temperature can be varied according to the age of the bearded dragon.
There is a special heat lamp bulb that is used to check the temperatures, and along with that heat emitter, or heating pads can also be used. Also, in some conditions the users need to provide terrarium heat to it. You can even use a combination of these to prepare a proper basking zone.
You first need to place any object in the basing area, on which the bearded dragon could perch. You can use tree limbs, bricks, suitable rocks and even the commercial perches.
If you are using any item from the outdoors then you need to be sure that the object you are using is mildew and insect free, as well as chemical free. It is better that you sterilize these things before you add them to the enclosure. You can use boiling water or oven.
Do not place stones or rocks in the oven if you are thinking of sterilizing them in that way. You can boil the stones for about 10 minutes.
Cool Zones
The other important requirement for the bearded dragons would be the cool zone. The temp of it should be of about 80-90 degrees.
Cool zones are necessary so that the bearded dragon can easily thermo regulate the temperature. If by chance the bearded dragon becomes a lot warm in the basking area then it can cool down a bit on the other side that is the cooling zone.
Creating a temperature gradient
The ideal temperature for the bearded dragon would be the one with varying temperatures. You need to make the basking zone with high temperatures while outside it should be slightly cooler.
The temperature outside the tank should be cool at about 80-85 degrees F. When you are creating a temperature gradient you should ensure that you are providing your bearded dragon an environment that is similar to the natural environment.
Figuring temperatures inside the enclosure
To make sure that you are achieving the desired temperature, you need high quality mercury or you can even use a digital thermometer. The best thermometer that you can use is the one that would have a probe at one end and the other end has the markings.
You need to place the thermometer on both ends so that readings from both the basing and cooling zone can be gathered.
Equipment
Now you also need to check out the lights that you would need for the bearded dragon. These can be the UVB or the visible lights.
Visible light would enlighten the atmosphere and would make it similar to the daylight enclosure. This would be required to replicate sun in the basking zone. This will influence the interaction of bearded dragons with the environment.
The visible light will be distributed across the house, and it should mainly focus on the basking area.
You can even use the regular bulb for your bearded dragon if it is white or similar to a diffused light. Some of the LED lights can even be used to brighten the bearded dragon’s enclosure. Basking bulbs can even be used to add light and produce heat.
UVB lighting
The UVB lighting is necessary for the Vitamin D. This is necessary for synthesis and for the metabolism of calcium in their health. The artificial UVB lightning seems to be very effective in the case of bearded dragons. Only the lights specific for UVB will provide it and the quality of the bulb will judge the price.
Conclusion
The owners of bearded dragon need to develop a suitable enclosure for their beardy with warm temperatures in the basking and cool outside.
