You can easily keep more than one crested gecko in one terrarium depending on their life stages. Housing baby crested geckos together

While housing the baby crested geckos together, you have to keep in mind lots of things and those things are as follows:-

Monitor the behaviour

You have to monitor the behaviour of the baby crested geckos from the very beginning as every crested gecko is different from each other. So you need to watch them. The male crested geckos are more aggressive and the female crested geckos are quite friendly with each and they will not fight or create havoc inside the terrarium when kept together in the terrarium.

So in the process of growing up many changes occur in their behaviour and this will help you to understand them better. Also you will know the correct time about when to separate them.

Terrarium

When you are housing the baby crested geckos together make sure that the terrarium is large enough that can cater to the needs of the crested geckos. As we are keeping more than one crested gecko so obviously we need ample space inside the terrarium so that they can get their personal space for hiding and also performing various activities.

As terrarium plays a very important part in the lives of the crested gecko at any life stage. Also the baby crested gecko needs alone time, so that is why proper space is needed, so there is no fighting inside the terrarium for the space among the crested geckos. Also make sure to adjust the right temperature.

Sizes

It is also recommended that the baby crested geckos should not be kept together having different sizes, as this can be dangerous for the ones who are smaller in size because they will try to hurt them or eat them up, which is not at all a good practice. So be careful while housing the baby crested geckos together and always keep the crested geckos together that are having same size and also weight to prevent any sort of mishappening inside the terrarium.

All these above points should be kept in mind while housing the baby crested together in order to keep them safe and also in a healthy status. If you will be careless with your baby crested geckos it will pose problem for you and also for them.

So to prevent any sort of mishappening or problem try to understand everything about them and then try to house them together.

Introducing new baby crested gecko

When you are introducing a new baby crested gecko inside the terrarium with other baby crested gecko, try to first quarantine them alone, in order to make sure that they are not having any sort of disease because if they will have any disease it can spread to other geckos if proper care is not taken.

Also it even prevent stress as the baby crested gecko will get used to the new environment and also to you and they will feel quite comfortable when they are introduced to other baby crested geckos and will not stress out as it will not be a sudden transition.

You should also make sure about the health and the diet of the new baby crested gecko in order to understand them more and make them more comfortable inside the terrarium with other baby crested geckos. So that is why quarantining them before introducing them to other baby crested geckos is very important and you should also be aware about everything they need and make them feel like home.

Conclusion

The baby crested geckos are not so messy to handle so you can keep them together in one terrarium without much to worry, but still you have to be observant about their behaviour as they are growing also so there are going through the behavioural changes also.

As we know that the adult crested geckos are aggressive and also love to stay alone so these character traits will start coming in the baby crested gecko when they will start growing in an adult.

Till the time the baby crested geckos are together enjoy that time and see them grow up. It will be a completely different experience and you would love to see them live together in one terrarium without any fights or aggression going with each other and they will live at peace at this life stage.
