Can bearded dragon sneeze?
Some bearded dragon owners get astonished when they see their bearded dragon is suddenly making coughing or sneezing like sound. This may seem amazing for the first time, but these human like behaviors are natural for the bearded dragons.
You can check if its breathing is normal and if it is reacting normally to your calls. There is no reason to be concerned as sneezing is as normal for the bearded dragon as any humans.

What can Cause of bearded dragon sneezing
Bearded dragon sneezes just for the same reason as humans. When there is something irritant stuck at the nose the reaction is sneezing. This can be any random airborne particle or something that is ingested by the bearded dragon.
RI of bearded dragons
One of the basic causes of sneezing or coughing among bearded dragons can be RI or respiratory infections and make it sick. This common ailment is caused by pneumonia and it occurs when the dragon is feeling stressed for a few days. Other reasons of this condition can be cold or polluted weather.
This infection takes place in the respiratory tracts through some bacteria, fungi or parasites. When the germs affect bearded dragon, this reptile starts sneezing, along with having discharge from eyes and nose. You can see bubble building on their noses or around mouth.
Their breathing seems to be low and shallow, and they gape or keep their mouth open when they try to breathe through their mouth.
Appetite also gets affected by this disease as they tend to eat less and feel lethargic. You will see them barely moving and laying on the enclosure most part of the day.
Upper respiratory infection
This is another reason of sneezing. You can find your breaded dragon suffering from it when you see it sneezing only at night and in the first part of morning. You can give the bearded dragon some medicine with sulphur or let it be, as in most cases this ailment gets cured on its own, within two or three week’s time.
Caused by food
Sneezing can sometimes caused allergy. You can find the bearded dragon sneezing a few times after it has been fed with some particular kind of food. It may happen so that, like human, they are allergic to some kind of food.
You can try to feed it one or two times again, and find it behaving that way; it means the bearded dragon cannot digest this particular type of vegetable or protein.
Caused by fast water drinking
When the bearded dragon is left in the water for soaking, they sometimes drink the water. This they do in a hurry and that sometimes get congested in their respiratory tract or inside their nostrils. This is a common cause of sneezing and you should not think much of this situation.
Once the water is out of nostril, it will stop sneezing.
Bearded dragon sounds like sneeze
There are some instances when the bearded dragon sometimes omits sounds like sneeze. This is an inverted sound and mostly it will not repeat after a few times. Also this can be not actual sneezing but the sound made by quick inhale and exhale process.
This can happen due to some respiratory issue or sometimes it can be caused by some irritant getting stuck at the nose. When the irritant is out of the way, the bearded dragon will stop making such sound.

This is a normal behavior of a baby bearded dragon to sneeze. Once you bring it home, you will be introduced to various new behaviors which the dragon will do. Sneezing a few times in a day is okay so you should not be worried regarding this.
